Application and Principles of the DF Wireless Module

The wireless transmission module has a wide range of applications in daily life, such as vehicle monitoring, remote control, telemetry, small wireless networks, wireless meter reading, access control systems, community paging, industrial data acquisition systems, wireless tags, identity recognition, contactless RF energy cards, small wireless data terminals, security and fire prevention systems, wireless remote control systems, biological signal acquisition, hydrological and meteorological monitoring, robot control, wireless 232 data communication, wireless 485/422 data communication, digital audio, digital image transmission, etc.



  • The working frequency of the DF data transmission wireless module is 433M, and it uses a surface acoustic wave (SAW) resonator for frequency stabilization with extremely high frequency stability. When the ambient temperature changes between -25℃ and 85℃, the frequency drift is only 3ppm/degree. The frequency stability of the SAW resonator is second only to the crystal, while the frequency stability and consistency of the general LC oscillator are poor, and even with high-quality tuning capacitors, it is difficult to ensure that the adjusted frequency point will not shift due to temperature changes and vibration.
  • The DF transmission wireless module does not have integrated coding circuits, but it adds a data modulation transistor Q1, which makes it easy to interface with other fixed coding circuits, rolling code circuits, and single-chip microcontrollers without considering the working voltage of the coding circuit and the size of the output amplitude signal. For example, when using PT2262 and other coding integrated circuits, just connect their data output pin 17 to the input pin of the DF data module.
  • The DF data wireless module has a wide operating voltage range of 3-12V, and the transmission frequency remains basically unchanged when the voltage changes. When the transmission voltage is 3V, the transmission distance in the open area is about 20-50 meters, and the transmission power is small. When the voltage is 5V, it is about 100-200 meters, and when the voltage is 9V, it is about 300-500 meters. When the transmission voltage is 12V, it is the optimal working voltage and has good transmission performance. The transmission current is about 60mA, and the transmission distance in the open area is about 700-800 meters, with a transmission power of about 500mW.
